Luis Carvalho SS14 presents the work of a young designer! New ideias, cuts from emerging figures of portuguese fashion scene.

Michael Jackson’s song demands “it doesn’t matter of you’re black or white” and we agree… The claimed designers Marques ’ Almeida represent a eminent fashion statement at the recent fashion scene…They are claimed by the fashion critics and fashion magazines like Vogue…They are quite eclectic and unique. This duck inspired flats SS14 represent their design…They materialize a CoXLab between the brand and EUREKA Shoes Store.
You can love them, you can hate them…But you cannot run from them…
LUIS BUCHINHO - GLAMOROUS SHOES
Luis Buchinho, the brand that designates the designer itself has nearly 20 years. He is a constant presence since 1991 at Moda Lisboa, in Portugal Fashion week since the 90´s and in Paris Fashion Week since 2009.
Since last FW13, he begun a coXLAB with a portuguese footwear manufacturer to produce shoes under his collection mood. That’s when the partnership between Buchinho and Helsar took part. This SS14 he continued to develop this concept and he nailed it!
The burgundy and black boots from FW13|14 gave place to imperial high heeled sandals, straight lined, building a continuous, keeping up the collection mood. Parallel lines, thin lines that embrace legs and feet, feminine, delicate painted in neutral tones : black, white & nude.
Luis Buchinho highlighted how important was the attention to quality and details during all the creative process, combining the designer sketches and the manufacturer standards, giving birth to a glamorous shoe collection that completely fulfills the designer needs and expectations.
